The Oats Series: Brownie Baked Oats

Who doesn’t love anything brownie inspired? I know I sure don’t!

Brownie overnight oats are delicious, but this recipe for brownie baked oats is next level! It is quite literally just like eating brownie dessert for breakfast. And it is so nutritious and satisfying too!

Ingredients:

  • oats
  • soy milk
  • cacao powder
  • vanilla extract
  • mashed banana
  • chocolate chips (or chopped nuts would also be so good)
  • optional toppings: peanut butter (or any nut butter), strawberries, raspberries, banana, hemp seeds, maple syrup, and so much more

Follow my recipe article for the basic baked oats template! You essentially just let the oats sit in the liquid, then place in an oven safe pan/bowl/dish, and cook. Go crazy with those toppings too; they are such an important part of the meal!

Listening to your cravings and to your body’s cues is so important! That is why I whole heartedly believe that eating chocolate in my breakfast is completely necessary.

When I eat nutritious, satisfying, and delicious foods, I feel amazing! And I would say to all those chocolate and oatmeal lovers… Go make this for breakfast!
