Take your classic comfort food- burgers and fries- and elevate it by 1000. Now you have VeganBurg. This superb burger joint truly brings the fun with their unique burger combinations and loaded fries!

Located on Haight Street, VeganBurg currently does not offer any outdoor seating but the take out does not fail to deliver deliciousness.

“Burgers that make you and the planet happy” I could not agree more!

I love VeganBurg’s mission and philosophy: breaking the stereotype of a burger and creating sustainable, plant-based fast food that tastes good and makes you feel good.

avocado beetroot on the left and creamy shrooms on the right

Are they the most pretty? I admit no. But are they still absolutely delicious? One hundred percent YES!

On the left we have the avocado beetroot burger and on the right we have the creamy shrooms burger. These were both SO good but the creamy shrooms was my fav of the two.

The avocado beetroot featured the more classic burger toppings with the perfect avocado to add the creamy factor and beetroot slivers that were not too overpowering. On the other hand, the creamy shrooms was out of this world! The onion and mushroom combo had me seriously in heaven.

These are their two best sellers but they have so many unique burger options that I can not wait to try!

Their plant protein patty is great; it reminds me of the high protein burger patty sold at Trader Joe’s. It is a mix between a classic veggie burger and the mock-meat burgers like the Impossible patty. Some burger patties are pan-grilled while others are crispy.

We made both of the burgers into meals for an additional $3.90 each: it comes with either seaweed fries or sizzlin’ broccoli and a 16oz drink of choice (lemonade or iced tea). While the fries were just mediocre, the broccoli was a must. It was perfectly lemony and a great addition to the meal as a whole.

Their menu also features chicken tenders, franks, loaded fries, soft serve, and cheesecake.

I will definitely be coming back because this meal was just so good, so filling, and so satisfying!
